Our heart is that you come along with us as we learn, work. Open hands farm is a market garden generously housed at longwood hills congregational church. Open hands farm is a micro farm located in longwood, florida We currently grow vegetables, herbs and flowers that we sell to the community, through one farmers market (audubon park community market on monday nights), restaurants, and directly from the farm.
You get to mix and match to meet your household's likes and needs Produce shares are distributed tuesday and thursday afternoons from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. Open hands farm is certified organic, so they use traditional weeding (cultivation, hoeing, and hand weeding) and disease prevention methods Pesticides, including those allowed in organic production, are not used on their farm.
